about spice & ice
The owners of Spice & Ice Asian Grill & Gelato are Albert
and Reba Worotikan. They have lived in the Willamette Valley the last twenty
years, aside from the four years they lived in South East Asia. They have
three children, Michael, Jennifer and Christina.
Reba is a native Oregonian. She has followed the “family” business as she is
a fourth generation Chef and Restaurant Owner. She also holds a degree in
business.
Albert grew up in Indonesia and came to the U.S. to further his studies. He
is an OSU graduate with a BA in Business from the Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism
Management Program.
Albert and Reba have been in the food service industry for 15 years. Past
endeavors include Spice Island Catering which they owned and operated for
nine years. During their endeavors overseas, Albert was the General Manager
of a Quality Resort in West Java Indonesia. There they managed the resort
and its three restaurants, featuring authentic Asian dishes daily.
Spice & Ice Asian Grill & Gelato located in North Albany, Oregon is their
current endeavor. Spice & Ice is not a franchise, however, it is their goal
to open several more locations with franchising in the company’s future.
The company’s goal is to provide excellent service, excellent quality of
food and gelato, support the economy by providing jobs and give back to the
community by supporting the local schools and organizations with donations
and fund raisers.
